We are delighted to share with you that Avery ES has reached 100% membership for the 2011-2012 school year! Thank you so much to all of our Avery families who not only bought memberships for yourselves, but also to those of you who encouraged friends and family members to support our school! There is strength in numbers, and joining the PTA increases our collective voice in both state and national issues that affect our children. In order to achieve 100%, it means that we have issued one membership per each child enrolled at Avery as of a certain date at the beginning of the school year. So while the 100% membership level does not mean that every Avery family has joined the PTA, it does mean that we’ve had enough support from friends, family and the local community to reach the goal number based on the number of our enrolled students. So thank you Avery families, friends and supporters! Let’s all celebrate by supporting our local businesses, including those that offer discounts and other benefits to our PTA members!  |
