The Boosterthon Fun Run program is a healthy alternative to traditional product sales that raises much-needed funds for our school and many others across America. The nine-day Boosterthon also promotes three specific values during the fun-filled program: Fitness, Leadership, and Character.

 This year’s character theme is “EPIC Adventure,” and it’s all about Teamwork! Our students will be building character by learning the four secrets of good teams:

The event will kick off with a 30-minute Pep Rally on Monday, October 17 and conclude on Wednesday, October 26 with the Boosterthon Fun Run event. Check the Avery PTA calendar  to see the scheduled times for the pep rally and fun run events for your child’s grade level.

Students get pledges towards the number of laps they will run at the Boosterthon Fun Run. Pledges can be made in a “per lap” amount or as a specific total amount regardless of the number of laps run.

Every student participates in the Fun Run, regardless of pledges raised, and also receives a “Boosterthon All-Star” t-shirt.

Enter your pledges at www.funrun.com. Each student will receive a packet of information for his/her own safe and secure Boosterthon Fun Run webpage to log in pledges and watch character videos. This year, sponsors can pay their pledges online! All pledges are tax-deductible!

The Boosterthon Fun Run Team spends 250-300 hours organizing the event, freeing up our teachers and administrators to focus on education!
